Startright is back!

Startright is our very popular 'parent & toddlers' group which meets every Wednesday morning during term time from 10.00am to 11.15am. It's for parents/carers and children under 5.

What can I expect?
Due to current restrictions Startright will look different to how you may remember it but we know you will still have a great time. The session will consist of time for play and a short story/song time.

Can I just turn up or do I need to book?
Online booking is required to attend Startright.  Due to the limited number of spaces available at this event we are allowing only 1 adult per household and up to a maximum of 2 children per adult.  Booking opens on Wednesdays at 12pm and will close at 12pm on Tuesdays for the following Wednesday session.  Spaces are limited so we are encouraging people to only book for one session per fortnight so that there are spaces for everyone who wants to attend.  For now Startright will be open free of charge.

Do I need to wear a face covering?
Adults are required to wear a face mask/covering whilst in the building unless they are exempt.  Please let us know when you check in. All team members will be wearing face shields so that those attending can see their smiling faces :)

Will there be songs?
The final 15 minutes of each session will be for a story time/a song for children to participate in with actions and dancing.  Unfortunately because of COVID guidelines we ask that adults do not join in with the singing for the time being.  We look forward to the time when we will be able to sing altogether again!

Can I use the toilets?
Toilets are available.  Please reapply hand sanitiser when you re-enter the play area.

Will there be refreshments?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide refreshments at the moment.  You are welcome to bring your own drinks/snacks for you/your children.

What other safety measures are in place?
We are asking that adults remain seated as much as possible to minimise moving around the building and to adhere to Social Distancing guidelines.  There will be plenty of seating available ....socially distanced.  You will be able to move seats during the morning but we do ask that you keep any belongings with you and use the wipes provided to clean the chair before and after sitting.

Please do not attend this event if you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or displays any of the symptoms of COVID-19 (a new and persistent cough, a temperature and a loss of taste or smell).

There are plenty of hand sanitising stations around the room, so you’re never too far away from somewhere you can sanitise your and your little one’s hands.  You will be asked to sanitise your hands when you enter the building and we ask you do this whenever you re-enter the play area.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
